The Baby Think It Over project has proven to be very important. Whether it be a parent trying to educate a teen about teen pregnancy or an adult trying to prepare
for their life changes with a baby.
We are the only company known to offer this by-mail rental service anywhere in the world.
As the cost of these simulators
has risen, so has the decline in funding available to many facilities. In response to the decrease in funding, the availability of the program has become more difficult to locate within the United States.
We provide our services to a diverse spectrum of participants, all understanding the importance of this program.
We feel that this is one of the most important life preparation lessons
that any person could learn hands-on. This program allows the participant the opportunity to test-drive parenthood in the privacy of their own home. And if they wish to
visit family and friends or even go out shopping or to dinner, that even provides a more realistic program for the participant. This is not an easy project, but it is
an incredibly important one.

This was a wonderful experience for Sarah and her boyfriend. It was especially meaningful to me, as 5 of her classmates (15-17 years of age) had babies last year. ‘They are so cute!!!’ The simulators helped Sarah and her boyfriend see at least some of the realities of parenthood. Sarah now tells me about the realities of the girls’ lives – loss of boyfriend, no money, no social life, difficulties in school, babies being raised in very non-ideal environments. It is so sad for the babies…
Did you notice? Sarah (and I) became so attached to the idea that this was to be a real experience, that neither one of us could cover her face with bubble-wrap when we sent her back. Thus the washcloth over her face.
